Dave Beare

Dave was born in Dayton, Ohio, and earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute, now known as Kettering University. He enjoyed a 38-year career with General Motors/Delphi, primarily in engineering and management roles, with 23 of those years spent in Detroit.

Upon retirement, Dave and his wife, Rhonda, sought a change of pace and relocated to Kendallville to escape the hustle and bustle of big city life. Dave learned a long time ago that “You can retire from your day job, but God wants you to do His work until He calls you home.” Embracing this calling, he recently transitioned from 7 years of retirement to his current role as Executive Ministry Lead at Fairview.

Dave and Rhonda have been happily married for 20 years and have one daughter and one son between them.
